Delete my account

You do not need the app installed to do this.

The fastest way

If you still have the app: open it and go to You → Settings → Delete my account. It takes effect immediately.

If you no longer have the app

Enter the email address you signed up with. We'll send you a confirmation link — this is to make sure nobody else can delete your account. The link is valid for one hour.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — first name, age, gender, bio, city and location
• Your voice recording and its transcript
• All of your photos, including the blurred versions
• Every match, and every message in every conversation
• Every like you sent or received
• Your account itself — you will be signed out on every device

This is permanent. There is no recovery period and no way to undo it.

What we keep, and why

• Reports concerning your account. If someone reported you, that record stays with the evidence attached, for two years after the case is closed. Otherwise deleting an account would be a way to erase a safety record — which is exactly what a bad actor would do. Your name and identifiers are removed from it.
• A record that a deletion happened — a one-way hash of your email, the date, and whether it came from the app or this page. We keep no identifier that points back to you. This is the proof of processing we owe to Google Play and to data protection authorities.
• Blocks you placed. A block protects the other person as much as you, so we do not undo it.
